I have been wanting to for a long time, but that time has just not allowed me yet – until now. Last weekend I went on my first photo meet, or gathering, or whatever you call it in English (fototräff in Swedish). I am a part of a photo communion called Fotosidan, and a dussin of us members got together to talk, take pictures, show photos, and share ideas about life in general.
The gathering was arranged by myself and Lysa Öster, at who’s work place, the beautiful Biskops Arnö, we met. Lysa was a great host, and we all had a wonderful time. It’s hard to explain but it was very refreshing to not only be with nice and warm people, but also to see them just as nutty about photography as I am. I felt right at home.
Here are some photos below, especially for those who came to the gathering.
Some more reflections, in Swedish, can be found at my Fotosidan blog. #gallery-3012-1 { margin: auto; } #gallery-3012-1 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-3012-1 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-3012-1 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
